Food for Thought

I have another aphorism for you. This French proverb gives us food for thought about relationships.

“In love, there is always one who kisses and one who offers the cheek.”

Love is for the birds.

Aphorism

No, it’s not a little green insect that sucks the life out of a rose leaf.

An aphorism is a comment on human behaviour, generally true, often tongue in cheek, sometimes wise, often ironic.

I was just having a bit of fun reading some quotes from a book of aphorisms, and I thought I would share one with you that gave me a chuckle. Women, especially, might like this one. (My apologies to all the good husbands out there.)

The majority of husbands remind me of an orangutan trying to play the violin.
